Abstract | In recent times, ransomware attacks have emerged as a pervasive threat, compromising the networks of diverse sectors, including public bodies and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). As a response, the Hong Kong Police Force have undertaken comprehensive investigations into these incidents, uncovering critical insights that can aid organizations in preventing such attacks and enhancing their cyber threat response capabilities.
This one-hour webinar presentation will delve into the dynamic world of ransomware attacks, focusing on the critical areas where improvements are essential. We will explore the tactics, techniques, and procedures employed by ransomware threat actors to infiltrate and disrupt networks, examining real-world case studies to highlight the gravity of the threat. |
