Dr. Michael Chen is the Cyber Cloud Lead and Director of Risk Advisory in Deloitte, based in Hong Kong. He has 20+ years’ experience in cloud computing and High Performance Computing across consulting, pre-sales, higher-education, training and marketing. He has successfully led large-scale cloud transformation initiatives to provide the secure, resilient global cloud infrastructure and services to clients of different industries including FSI, commercial enterprise and higher education. He has all Amazon Web Services certifications, and other cloud certifications: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Alibaba Cloud. He also has various ITSM, project management and Agile certifications. |
Abstract | Cloud can help organizations achieve greater business agility and resilience by modernizing their IT approach. Organizations understand they are still responsible for securing their data and applications in the cloud based on Shared Responsibility model, but they lack enough skills to achieve the goal due to the cloud has different operating model, access control, risk management, compliance processes, etc. In addition, most of time security is considered after cloud adoption/migration journey has started, which also leads to the security risk in future.
In the webinar, you will understand the difference of security in the cloud and the challenges. A security-by-design approach is introduced to bring together cloud and security specialists to work with shared goals that balance the need to quickly modernize IT with requirements for security and consumer trust. Under the Cloud Security Control Framework, you will understand more about the applications security measures in the cloud, such as Zero Trust, Secure Landing Zone, DevSecOps, etc. |
