Topic Practical Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Workshop
Speaker Mr. Simon Pedersen

Simon Pedersen is Automation Manager at PwC Hong Kong. RPA and Automation are about transforming how organisations operate in their day to day business. Simon seeks to add value to clients’ daily lives by helping their staff become more efficient and reduce daily tedious actions. He has more than 6 years of experience with RPA. In addition, Simon holds Blue Prism Technical Architect and Professional Developer, Uipath and Pega Robotics certifications.
Course content and takeaways This workshop will introduce RPA to participants unfamiliar with the terms but is getting into the area of RPA. This course should not be seen as a development course. Instead, it will more generally introduce RPA and tools like Blue Prism and UiPath..

After this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Understand what is Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
  • Understand the benefits RPA brings to a business or employee
  • Know strong and weak points of RPA – To better judge the suitability of RPA
  • Know how RPA is interacting with business applications and which considerations to take.
  • Obtain hands-on RPA development experience (You may bring your own laptop or simply watch the demonstration)
