Robert is a Director with KPMG and leads KPMG’s virtual assets risk advisory services. Robert is actively involved in the digital asset community, having been involved with digital assets since 2020, and represented KPMG in various external events including interviews with Hong Kong Economic Times, CoinDesk, and being industry panellist on virtual asset related topics during conference events. Robert is also familiar with different programming languages including Python, Java, C++, VBA, Solidity, and Rust. Prior to re-joining KPMG, Robert was the HKIA appoint Key Person in Risk Management function and chief risk officer for two Hong Kong subsidiaries (life and general insurance companies) of a US-based listed insurance company driving the strategic transformation of the risk management function.

Lanis is a Partner in the Technology Consulting practice of KPMG China, and she leads KPMG’s virtual assets technology and cybersecurity risk management services. She has a proven track record in helping financial institutions in designing, implementing or reviewing technology risk management framework, cybersecurity strategy and controls. Her expertise spans across various areas such as technology outsourcing, cloud technology, third party management, cyber security, data protection, system resilience, data analytics, business continuity plans, etc.
