Speakers | ![]() Mr. Terence Law is the Emerging Technologies Director of ISACA China Hong Kong Chapter. He is the Head of Innovation and Data for the Internal Audit department of a leading financial institution. Terence has extensive experience in financial service industry, with expertise in auditing, risk management, artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity and cloud computing. He has a strong desire to contribute to the community and volunteers his time and expertise to promote the adoption of industry-leading practices. Terence holds several industry certifications including CISA, CISSP, CFA, CPA, Certified Banker.
Mr. Freeman Ng is the Principal Consultant of iSystems Security Limited with 30 years of IT experience. He provides information security consulting to financial institutions and multinational corporations in Asia Pacific. Prior to the current position, Freeman has hands-on IT technical and risk management experience in Standard Chartered Bank, Unisys and NEC. He has professional certifications including CISA, CISM, CDPSE, GPEN, Certified Red Team Expert, Certified Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, Certified Network Defense Architect, etc. He has Master Degree in Information Systems (Artificial Intelligence).
Mr. Anthony Lo started his career as network security consultant and now being security architect in CLP Holdings Ltd, architecting the security portfolio across risk, technical and process prospective. He plays the key role of security in the journey of transforming the enterprise from on-premise to cloud, from work-in-office to work-from-home.
Ms. Karen Liang possesses over 7 years of in-depth experiences in offensive security regarding technical red teaming exercises, malware attack simulation, penetration testing, IT risk and governance services for a wide range of industries in Hong Kong and across Asian Pacific including conglomerate, retail, financial services, public utility, critical infrastructure, property development, gambling and entertainment, automotives, luxury goods and information technology. With understanding of continuously refreshing cybersecurity trends, Karen keeps refreshing the adversarial tactics, techniques and procedures (“TTPs”) in the key areas of expertise include red teaming, attack surface management, network penetration test, cyber attack simulation, web/mobile application penetration test, threat and vulnerability assessment, and infrastructure security reviews. Karen is also the member of ISACA CNHK – SheLeadsTech Committee and speaker of the SheLeadsTech program. |
Abstract | As Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to reshape industries and drive business innovation, organizations must ensure that AI systems are aligned with strategic objectives and governed effectively. With AI becoming increasingly integral to business operations, the need for robust auditing frameworks has never been greater. However, traditional audit methodologies often struggle to keep pace with AI’s rapid advancements and evolving risks.
To address these challenges, ISACA launched the AI Audit Toolkit in June 2024 to provide a structured, standardized approach to AI governance, helping organizations implement and assess AI controls efficiently. Complying with the complete set of controls in the toolkit can be challenging, especially when AI adoption paces are varied in different organizations.
